Automotive Service Porter (FULL TIME) AM/PM Shifts

About the role

The Service Porter supports the Service Department by warmly greeting clients upon arrival, preparing vehicles with protective coverings, performing basic maintenance checks, cleaning the service drive and shop, washing customer and company vehicles, handling pick‑up/drop‑off, and assisting with parts inventory and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers with a warm welcome when they arrive in the service drive
• Providing each vehicle with protective floor and seat covering
• Communicating with teammates and valeting vehicles to designated parking areas
• Completing tire pressure checks, battery tests, checking/filling fluids, replacing windshield wiper inserts, and replacing light bulbs
• Performing routine cleaning in the service drive and service shop
• Washing customer‑owned and company‑owned vehicles
• Handling pick‑up and drop‑off of customer vehicles as needed
• Completing parts inventory purchases at local dealerships
• Transferring inventory
• Participating in deep‑clean projects with the maintenance team

Requirements

• Physically able to perform assigned tasks (bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, walking, and standing for prolonged periods; driving vehicles; willing to work in all types of weather)
• Consent to a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license with no violations

Pay

Hourly range: $17.50 – $18.00

Schedule

Full‑time, AM/PM shifts available; consistent schedule with Sundays off.
