Automotive Service Porter

About the role

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking Service Lot Porters to greet customers, keep vehicles in excellent condition, and maintain the lot so customers are impressed when they first enter the locations.

Responsibilities

• Install seat, steering wheel, floor protection, and key tags in all vehicles taken in for service.
• Ensure all vehicle keys are returned to the appropriate location; ensure all vehicles in the lot(s) are locked, windows rolled up, and keys securely stored.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Inform the supervisor of any illegal activity.
• Consistently remain engaged with management, team leads, fellow team members, and processes to foster successful working relationships with all internal and external clients.
• Maintain follow‑up systems that encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to client satisfaction.
• Immediately communicate with management whenever a concern or situation arises.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) years.
• Proven track record of achieving or overachieving goals.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Great attitude with a high‑energy personality.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Authorization to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment testing, including background checks, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and drug tests.
