About the role
The Automotive Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality customer service and efficient vehicle maintenance. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for automotive technology.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily service operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of all scheduled appointments.
- Manage and train the service department staff to maintain high standards of customer service and technical expertise.
- Develop and implement service department policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies to ensure availability for customers.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
