Pay & Schedule

  • $90K - $110k annual base salary, plus potential for additional compensation for top performers

Responsibilities

  • Manage office and shop personnel and daily operations
  • Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Take corrective or disciplinary action for employee non-compliance
  • Ensure quality of work, attitude, and performance meet or exceed guest satisfaction goals
  • Direct the smooth, orderly, and organized operation of the store
  • Maintain a positive attitude and communications at all times
  • Develop guest estimates and work orders, and direct Service Writers in this process
  • Assign work orders to technicians and ensure the selection of quality parts
  • Ensure target profit margins are achieved
  • Open and close the store daily, including accounting procedures and reconciliations
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits, report analysis, and communicate results to owners
  • Ensure all equipment is operational and technicians have the resources needed
  • Serve as the primary communication interface with guests before, during, and after service
  • Greet every guest enthusiastically, demonstrating hospitality and respect
  • Present clear and honest repair solutions to guests
  • Consistently sell services while maintaining honesty and integrity
  • Act professionally to represent the organization at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive customer service and service sales
  • Supervisory or management experience in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and automotive store applications
  • Experience with TekMetric software preferred (not required)
  • Graduation from an industry-recognized service training program preferred (not required)
  • ASE Service Consultant certification or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a record acceptable to our insurance carrier

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for the majority of the workday
  • Occasionally lift and carry objects over 50 lbs
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Work at a brisk pace in a high-volume environment
  • Frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, and standard handset phone
