About the role

The Automotive Service Dispatcher plays a crucial role in our service department, coordinating workflow, assigning jobs to technicians, and ensuring our customers receive fast, reliable service.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently dispatch repair and maintenance jobs to technicians based on skill level and availability - Maintain clear communication between service advisors and technicians - Monitor work progress to ensure on-time completion - Update repair orders and manage workflow in the shop management system - Help maintain a smooth, organized, and safe shop environment - Assist with customer updates as needed

Requirements

- Experience in an automotive service environment (dispatching preferred) - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced shop - Basic computer skills; familiarity with shop software a plus - A team player with a positive, professional attitude

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver’s license
