About the role

The Assistant Service Center Manager supports the Service Center Manager in overseeing automotive service operations, including supervising technicians and staff, resolving customer issues, and ensuring safety and loss prevention compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing service technicians
• Provide technical training
• Perform technician duties when needed
• Uphold safety policies

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills
• Automotive maintenance experience preferred
• Supervisory and retail experience a plus
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Pass drug/background checks

Certifications

• Ability to attain ASE certifications in specific areas within one year
• Additional certifications required for certain roles, especially in Michigan
