About the role
We are looking for a full-time Service Cashier to join our auto dealership team. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous Service Cashier experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Devote yourself to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Attend company meetings as required.
- Maintain a follow-up system to encourage follow-through with assigned projects.
- Establish personal performance goals consistent with company standards and devise strategies to meet them.
- Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to improve time utilization and planning.
- Understand business terminology and stay updated on technological changes in products and services.
- Know and comply with federal, state, and local requirements governing the company’s business.
- Follow lawful directions from supervisors and adhere to work rules and procedures.
- Participate in performance management and interact positively with others to influence employee morale.
- Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies.
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Assist with annual physical inventory count.
- Assist in examining and updating physical and electronic inventory control systems upon request.
- Perform daily and weekly physical cycle counts.
- Monitor accuracy levels as directed by the inventory control manager.
- Maintain current and precise inventory records.
- Establish and implement inventory control procedures for all departments.
- Work with the inventory control manager to resolve inventory issues.
- Maintain sufficient stock volume to meet demand and appropriate inventory turn ratios.
- Examine inventory valuation, report on slow-moving and non-moving items, and analyze monthly sales to support inventory needs projections.
- Collaborate with department managers to develop strategies for eliminating slow-moving and non-moving merchandise.
- Work with sales, service, parts, and accessories departments to develop inventory expectations and meet purchasing needs.
- Help provide sufficient inventory of products and materials considering organizational philosophy and inventory cycles.
- Assist the inventory manager in balancing inventory between carrying costs and service, sales, and parts demands.

Pay
Base hourly compensation between $15.50 and $19.00.
