About the role
As an Automotive Service Advisor with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicles. You play a large role in building relationships with our guests by guiding them through the entire repair process, keeping them informed of the status of their vehicle, and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest who enters our facility with unreasonable hospitality and service
- Be solution-minded and present the best repair options in an easy-to-understand way
- Assist with managing the store’s workflow efficiently
- Consistently and effectively sell services while maintaining honesty and integrity
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere
- Communicate on the phone in a clear, professional manner
- Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself, and the guest
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in customer service activities
- Shuttle guests as needed in a CBA-branded vehicle
- Ensure all repairs are performed to proper specifications
- Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current driver’s license
- Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications
- Experience in an automotive customer service role or as an Automotive Service Writer/Advisor/Sales role
Physical Requirements
- Dependable and reliable for scheduled shifts: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- On your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
- Occasionally lift and carry objects over 50 lbs.
- Keep a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
