Automotive Service Advisor – Customer Service & Sales Focus

About the role

Turner Auto Care is seeking an exceptional Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. This role involves creating an outstanding customer experience, guiding customers through vehicle decisions, managing workflow, and keeping operations smooth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by greeting warmly, listening, and communicating effectively.
• Prepare and present repair and maintenance recommendations, explaining technical information clearly.
• Help customers prioritize repairs and maintenance based on safety, reliability, and budget.
• Follow up on declined work and future service needs.
• Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and parts suppliers.
• Monitor repair progress and keep customers updated.
• Schedule appointments and manage daily workflow.
• Order parts and communicate with vendors.
• Help keep the entire team moving efficiently and productively.

Requirements

The ideal candidate loves working with people and building relationships, has strong customer service and communication skills, can manage multiple priorities, adapts well to different situations, takes initiative, and enjoys being part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service advisor experience.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Experience with point-of-sale, scheduling, or shop management software.
• Previous sales, hospitality, retail management, or customer service leadership experience.
