Automotive Service Advisor

Tate Boys Tire & Auto Service has been serving the community since 1936, specializing in tire services and mechanical repairs. As part of Sun Auto Tire & Service, a national provider, we prioritize integrity, excellence, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers in person and by phone using professional standards
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and document their needs
• Review service history, inspect vehicles, and verify repair requirements
• Recommend products and services confidently and clearly
• Accurately prepare quotes, timelines, and repair orders
• Communicate status updates throughout the day
• Review completed work, explain warranties, and handle checkout
• Track all returns, warranty parts, and core parts for each customer
• Support the team with other duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor preferred but not required
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment
• Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays (but never Sundays!)

Pay

$60,000 – $80,000 per year, depending on experience

Schedule

Minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays (but never Sundays!)
