Automotive Service Advisor

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the service process
• Greet customers in person or by phone, schedule appointments, and ensure timely vehicle diagnosis
• Clearly explain recommended services, repairs, and associated costs
• Maintain strong communication between customers and technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Generate repair orders, invoices, and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards
• Educate and advise customers on vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Aid in dispatching repair orders to technicians when needed
• Ensure an excellent customer experience by delivering on-time, high-quality service
• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years dealership Service Advisor / Service Writer experience REQUIRED
• Experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, or other domestic brands strongly preferred
• Dispatch experience is a PLUS
• High school diploma or GED required (post-secondary automotive training a plus)
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent customer service, sales, and communication skills
• Professional appearance with a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Computer proficiency (CDK experience a plus)
• Team-oriented, dependable, and highly organized
