Automotive Senior Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair of drivability and electrical systems
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training
• Aid and train technicians/mechanics in technical activities
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three areas within two years

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in brakes and hydraulics, steering & suspension, and tire repair
• Current certifications/licenses as required by federal, state, and local regulations
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
• Reading, writing, and math skills
