Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and repair of drivability and electrical systems.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Stay current with automotive technology through formal training.
- Assist and train technicians/mechanics in technical activities.
- Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within two years of employment.
Qualifications
- Valid automobile driver’s license.
- Proven skills in brakes and hydraulics systems, steering & suspension and alignments, and general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
- Current federal, state, and local certification/license where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.

Pay Range: $19.57 - $33.56
