Automotive Sales Consultant (No Sundays - 5 day Workweek)

About the role

Scott Clark Toyota is the top volume dealer in the Charlotte metro area and seeks Sales Consultants to join their expanding customer base. As a Sales Consultant, you will be highly skilled at discovering customers' needs and assisting them in finding a vehicle that meets those needs through the use of current technology, a vast knowledge of the product, and a working knowledge of the inventory.

Responsibilities

• Discover and assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs
• Demonstrate vehicle features to customers
• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively, both in person and over the phone
• Overcome customer objections during the sales process
• Leverage strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Perform basic business math including percentages
• Use Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs
• Clean and wash vehicles as needed

Requirements

Customer service skills are essential in today's market. Good communication skills are also essential, along with computer skills if available.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the workday
• Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections
• Quality customer service skills and a proven sales track record
• Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
• Proficient in basic business math including percentages
• Capable of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs
• Persistent, competitive, and good work ethic

Skills

Basic business math, communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to learn and use Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs are beneficial.
