Join New Bern Auto Group as an Automotive Sales Associate in New Bern, NC, where you'll play a key role in connecting customers with their perfect vehicles. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about the automotive industry and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs and preferences.
• Provide detailed information on vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
• Negotiate sales terms and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the sales team and management to meet sales targets.
• Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
• Build relationships & create customers for life.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Be the vehicle expert; know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology.
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive sales or a related customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and rotating shifts/schedules.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
