About the role

J.B.A. Chevrolet is a family-owned dealership serving the Glen Burnie community since 1976. We take great care of our customers and employees, and we're looking to add an Automotive Sales Associate to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Build lasting relationships with customers and create a positive buying experience
  • Aid customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to their needs
  • Demonstrate new and pre-owned Chevrolet vehicles professionally and engagingly
  • Develop a strong understanding of Chevrolet products, features, packages, and technology
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals
  • Overcome objections and build confidence in a sales environment
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to track goals, activity, and performance

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Qualifications

  • PREFERRED: Experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality; automotive sales experience; ambitious mindset with interest in career growth; bilingual (Spanish speaking)

Compensation & Benefits

  • For those without automotive sales experience, $500 per week training pay for the first six weeks
  • For those with previous sales experience, $300 weekly draw
  • Extremely competitive and tiered commission pay plan with a deal minimum of $125.00
  • Commission pay is issued monthly
