Automotive Sales Assistant - Highland, Michigan, United States
About the role
The Automotive Sales Assistant works in the dealerships showroom to provide assistance to Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, and directly assisting customers. The position offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
- Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
- Update customer records in dealerships applications as required.
- Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions.
- Cook up test drives and trade vehicle appraisals.
- Pull vehicle invoices.
- Run rebate summaries on vehicles.
- Work with the finance department to obtain the necessary customer information for credit approvals.
- Work with the service department to ensure accessory installations.
- Schedule appointments & deliveries.
- Reconcile monthly volume of sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be dependable, friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required.
