About the role

As an Automotive Repair Technician for AAA, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure our customers can drive confidently and comfortably.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and automotive diagnostics/repair for engine performance, automatic/manual transmissions, suspension/steering, brakes (including ABS/traction control), electrical, and heating/AC.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continuously develop additional technical skills to adapt to different work assignments.

Requirements

  • Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance through previous experience as an Automotive Technician.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or Car Dealership Certifications in automotive diagnostics/repairs preferred, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire (paid for by AAA).
  • Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications

  • The starting base compensation for this position is $25.00 to $35.00 hourly flat rate, and includes a 30 Hour Billable Week Guarantee.
  • The starting base compensation for this position is $22.29 to $31.30 hourly flat rate, and includes a 20 Hour Billable Week Guarantee.
  • The starting base compensation for this position is $19.50 to $30.35 hourly flat rate, and includes a 20 Hour Billable Week Guarantee.

Skills

  • Advanced automotive diagnostic equipment.
  • Technical guidance through previous experience as an Automotive Technician.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or Car Dealership Certifications in automotive diagnostics/repairs.

Pay

Competitive flat rate compensation with adjustments based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

Schedule

  • Full-time technicians work a total of 5 days each week, with Mondays, Friday & Saturdays typically required.
  • You’ll get Sundays off each week, and another day during the week off dependent on business need.
