About the role
As an Automotive Repair Technician C for AAA, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure our customers can drive with confidence and peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair
- Perform basic brake diagnosis and repair
- Perform alignments
- Tire repair
- Fluid maintenance exchange
- Battery check and installation
- Maintain knowledge of general automotive skills
- Maintain a clean, well-organized work area
- Properly maintain tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures as outlined in manufacturer safety policies
- Organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency in the performance of all job functions, including vehicle movement
- Accurately perform repairs and maintenance on all vehicles as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures or accepted industry practices
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to accurately repair vehicles using standard automotive procedures
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification preferred in at least two categories: Suspension & Steering, and Brakes, or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire
- Valid Driver’s License
- The ability to lift a maximum of 75lbs, and stand for prolonged periods of time
- The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment)
- Authorized to work in the USA

Pay
The starting base compensation for this position is $22.58 to $31.75 hourly flat rate. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
