Automotive Repair Technician A

About the role

A highly skilled A-Level Automotive Technician is needed to join AAA Club Alliance. This position involves diagnosing complex issues, performing advanced repairs, and setting the standard for quality in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, gas and automatic transmissions/transaxles, manual transmissions/suspension and steering, brakes, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment.
• Work as a mentor and go-to expert within the team.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 75 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Satisfactory screening results including criminal, drug, and motor vehicle.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification as an “A-Tech”, or equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire.
• L1 certification from ASE is preferred.

Pay

The starting base compensation for this position is $28.93 to $40.61 hourly, with actual pay adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time associates are guaranteed 30 hours per week, with no Sundays.
