About the role

Jack Giambalvo Kia is looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Part-Time Automotive Reconditioning Specialist to join their team. This position is ideal for students, individuals seeking supplemental income, or anyone looking for consistent evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail new and pre-owned vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and showroom presentation.
• Vacuum, shampoo, clean, and condition vehicle interiors.
• Wash, dry, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Maintain high-quality appearance standards for all vehicles.
• Aid with lot organization and vehicle movement.
• Keep the detail department clean, organized, and safe.
• Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Support the sales and service departments as needed.

Requirements

• Evening availability is required.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is helpful but not required—we'll train the right person!
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive detailing is helpful but not required.

Pay

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Schedule

Schedule Evening and weekend hours are mandatory. Weekday approximate hours: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Saturday hours may vary.
