About the role
Join LEHR, the nation’s premier provider of mission-critical vehicle upfitting solutions for police, fire, utility, and other essential fleets. As an Automotive Quality Control Technician, you will program light and siren systems and finalize all installations to support first responders.
Responsibilities
- Install and program light and siren systems and other emergency vehicle equipment
- Check and finalize completed system installations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
- Organize tools and inventory
Requirements
- One year of IT/Programming experience
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Respect and positive collaboration with first responders and law enforcement
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 12V electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams
- Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification (required within 12 months of hire; LEHR will assist with preparation)
Pay
$23–$25 per hour, based on experience

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (no weekends)
