About the role

We’re looking for Auto Painters with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive painting experience to join us at Carvana – the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. At Carvana you’ll work in a high‑tech Inspection Center using state‑of‑the‑art tools.

Responsibilities

• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting
• Buffing, touch‑up, paint mixing, and airbrush work

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional automotive painting experience
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools (including lifting up to 60 pounds independently)
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
• Use of safety equipment such as face shield/goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, etc.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Successful completion of a background check required (no visa sponsorship)

Qualifications

Entry‑level Painter role requires the above experience; Carvana offers training programs to help skills and pay progress with the company.

Skills

• Vehicle priming and final sanding
• Buffing and touch‑up techniques

Pay

Hourly Pay: $20‑23

Schedule

Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs to meet customer delivery commitments.
