Automotive Parts Front Counter Person

About the role

Culver City Honda, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking a Parts Front Counter Sales Associate who embodies our core values of Respect, Intelligence, Greatness, Honesty, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and according to dealership guidelines.
• Sell branded parts.
• Improve efficiency of customer/Parts Department interactions and transactions.
• Ensure accuracy between inventory and computer records.
• Refresh accessory displays and coordinate with Sales Manager.
• Maintain workflow in the parts department and intervene as needed.
• Make warranty and billing adjustments.
• Monitor backorders and ensure timely delivery.
• Account for all dealership purchases and tag parts for full credit recovery.
• Absorb overdue accounts and notify special-order customers upon arrival of parts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an automotive parts department preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information.
• Problem-solving skills and empathy for customers.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical ability to move around the parts department and handle lifting over 50 lbs.
• Valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in an automotive parts department, and computer skills.

Skills

Pay

$16.50 + commission
