Key Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory and supply of automotive parts
• Serve as a key link between service technicians, customers, and parts suppliers
• Aid customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles
• Use electronic catalogs and software systems to locate part numbers and check availability
• Monitor stock levels, receive shipments, and organize parts in the storage area
• Place orders for parts not in stock and follow up on delivery timelines
• Provide service technicians with the correct parts needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims for defective or incorrect parts
• Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, inventory, and customer interactions
• Cook up with suppliers, service advisors, and other dealership departments

Keys to Success

• Previous parts advisor or parts counter experience (preferred)
• Understanding of basic automotive components and systems
• Automotive dealership service experience (a plus)
• Any automotive certifications (a plus)
• Adequate driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
