Automotive Painter/Prep (2nd Shift)

About the role

We’re looking for Auto Painters with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive painting experience to join Carvana, the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. You’ll work in a high‑tech Inspection Center using state‑of‑the‑art tools, and if you’re joining in an entry‑level position we offer training programs to help your skills and pay grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting
• Buffing, touch‑up, paint mixing, and airbrush work
• Use state‑of‑the‑art tools in the Inspection Center
• Participate in training programs to develop skills and advance pay

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional automotive painting experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
• Use of safety equipment such as face shield/goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
