Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Apply primers, sealers, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment and approved techniques.
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and perform necessary repairs prior to painting.
- Maintain consistent paint thickness, texture, and finish quality.
- Buff, polish, and finish painted surfaces to achieve required appearance standards.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and specifications.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
- or Painting experience
- Industrial spray finishing experience
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Pay
The U.S. pay range for this position is $24 - $26 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
