Automotive Paint Tech Assistant

Responsibilities

• Traveling to dealerships for on-site cosmetic repair.
• Aiding in inspecting vehicles to be painted for repair.
• Aiding in prepping and/or buffing defects.
• Aiding in mixing paint to specific colors using standard formulas or color charts.
• Aiding in painting, sanding, masking, blending, and/or polishing finishes and retouching as needed.
• After a temporary probationary period, moving up to a commission opportunity.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and legal employment verification required.
• Ability to interact with co-workers and customers.
• Detail-oriented skills.
• Good listening and decision-making abilities.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• The ability to follow complex instructions is a plus.
• Ample knowledge of safety precautions.

Work Environment

• Working with strong detergents and chemicals.
• Exposure to hot and cold weather conditions.
• Wearing gloves and protective gear.
