About the role

Paint Prep Technician supporting automotive reconditioning services.

Responsibilities

• Surface inspection, cleaning, sanding, and repairing surfaces
• Masking and taping areas to prepare for painting
• Applying primer and smoothing surfaces for optimal paint adhesion
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment
• Following safety protocols and disposing of hazardous materials properly
• Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Technician
• Maintaining records
• Performing other assigned tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of surface prep and painting techniques
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and outdoors
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Ability to kneel and bend
• Lift up to 45 pounds
• Work in well-ventilated environments

Pay

Starting pay $25.00–$26.00/hour
