Automotive Mobile Technician

Capital Ford of Raleigh is seeking a skilled and adaptable Automotive Mobile Technician to deliver high-quality on-site automotive maintenance and repair services directly to our customers.

About the Role

This position involves traveling to customer locations to perform a wide range of automotive services, from essential maintenance to detailed repairs. The ideal candidate will work autonomously in a mobile service unit, demonstrating strong mechanical expertise and superior problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform on-site automotive maintenance and repair services.
• Conduct essential maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections across various vehicle makes and models.
• Perform detailed vehicle inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Execute repairs and replace worn-out or faulty parts, including belts, hoses, brakes, and exhaust systems.
• Clearly explain repair recommendations to customers, provide accurate estimates, and address inquiries.
• Maintain and manage an organized inventory of tools, parts, and equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and compliance standards.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support customers and the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a preference for mobile service experience.
• ASE Certification or other relevant technical qualifications are highly desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks.
