About the Role
Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diagnostic Technician to perform all-purpose duties, including assisting customers, supporting Autel scanning units, answering technical questions, and resolving vehicle technology issues through research.
Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge to assist customers with vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
- Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of Autel scanning units.
- Address technical questions related to scanning procedures of the Autel unit.
- Conduct research to understand, explain, and resolve technology issues on vehicles.
Requirements
- 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic Technician (I-CAR & ASE certifications preferred).
- Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties.
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
- Minimum age requirement of 21+ years.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Skills
- Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work through competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
