About the role
As an Automotive ADAS Technician, your primary responsibilities include customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, invoice generation, inventory control, and service vehicle maintenance. You’ll work in alignment with all team members, acting as a dedicated Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.
Responsibilities
- Determine testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviewing all estimates for repair
- Perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, and analysis
- Perform wiring repairs
- Advise shop of needed repairs
- Maintain inventory of stock, communicate with support staff for needed orders, and verify order receipts
- Write, print, and email service invoices
- Collect signatures or payments for work performed
- Deliver completed invoices and payments to the office in an orderly manner
- Maintain shop equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and advising management of repairs
- Keep Google Drive up to date
- Collaborate with teammates to schedule and complete jobs according to PPT guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- 4+ years of relevant automotive/electronic technician experience
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of OE scan tools
- Ability to learn new tools as needed
- Knowledge of wiring repair procedures
- Ability to service A/C systems
- Diagnostic skills in the automotive trade
- Basic computer knowledge, including email, spreadsheets, and messaging systems
- Willingness to update job knowledge through educational opportunities and reading technical publications
Pay
Pay Range: $60,000 - $95,000 annually (hourly pay, eligible for overtime). Compensation is based on skill, education, and experience.
Schedule
Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
