Job Summary
The Automotive Mechanic will assemble armored vehicles ensuring the functionality of all electrical and mechanical systems. You will see vehicles through from the initial chassis modifications to final inspection for customer delivery. This role requires precision, a "can-do" attitude, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install and assemble exterior and interior components
- Install ballistic glass into the vehicle
- Perform full-vehicle diagnostic tests and performance checks
- Ensure all chassis modifications meet safety and performance standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during the assembly process
Requirements
- 3+ years in the automotive industry working on mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of Ford chassis platforms; ASE certifications preferred
- Ability to read and follow complex mechanical and electrical schematics
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs and work in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems
