Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain automobiles, trucks, equipment, and tools.
- Perform journey-level mechanical repair work.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment.
- Drive snowplows and/or sand spreaders as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive repair and computer training in automotive systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Possession of a Virginia Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- A clean driving record that meets city requirements.
- Successful completion of a background and driving record check.
