Automotive Mechanic ($4k - $6k Bonus)

About the role

We are seeking experienced automotive mechanics to join our team at Carvana. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of professional shop experience and a strong background in automotive repair, including diagnostics on various makes and models.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of automotive repairs, including light maintenance to heavy engine work.
  • Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • Complete repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and vehicle climate control systems, such as ACs and heater cores.

Requirements

  • Absolutely must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
  • Must be willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
  • Strong background in automotive repair, including diagnostics on various makes and models.
  • Experience with brake and tire repairs.

Schedule

Candidates will initially work 1st shift while learning processes and completing training before moving to 2nd shift placement.

Pay

The pay range is $25.00 – $40.00 per flat-rate hour.
