Automotive Master Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine performance and driveability concerns
• Diagnose and repair brake systems
• Diagnose and repair steering and suspension systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and computer systems
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems
• Perform general maintenance and repair items
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
• Aid and mentor other technicians
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly with customers and advisors
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, and repair quality
• Help keep the shop clean, safe, and organized

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• American Society of Automotive Engineers (ASE) Certifications preferred (A1–A8 strongly preferred)
• EPA Section 609 Certification required
• State Inspection License (if applicable)
• Leadership mentality with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs regularly
• Stand, bend, stoop, and work in a fast-paced shop environment
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to automotive chemicals and shop equipment
