Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Check, top off, and replace fluids such as engine oil, coolant, brake, and transmission fluids
- Inspect belts, hoses, tires, and other basic vehicle components
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns
- Communicate recommended repairs or maintenance needs to service advisors
- Accurately document all services performed
- Follow dealership safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area including scrap and debris removal
- Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely vehicle service
- Continue learning automotive maintenance procedures and best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Lube Technician or automotive maintenance role preferred
- Knowledge of basic automotive systems and maintenance services
- Ability to use shop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
