About the role
The Lube Technician is an entry-level automotive service role responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and inspections while delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (oil change, tire rotations, various fluid flushes)
- Perform a vehicle multi-point inspection to ensure the proper operation of a vehicle and the safety of the customer (Check fluids, filters, battery test, tires, suspension components, and the overall integrity of the vehicle)
- Perform a video multi-point inspection
- Fill out a vehicle multi-point inspection form, that includes multi-media attachments
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure proper handling of a customer's vehicle
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment
- Ensure the company’s core values are met with fellow employees and customers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license
- Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids)
- Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including: Oil and filter changes, Tire rotation and pressure checks, Fluid checks and top-offs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering), Battery testing and replacement, Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
