Automotive Lube Technician
Overview
Group 1 Automotive is a fast-growing leader in automotive retail, and they are seeking to add a qualified Automotive Lube Technician at Honda of Slidell.
Responsibilities
- Perform all lubrication services (changing oil, transmission fluids, and filters) in a safe manner.
- Thoroughly check the customer’s car (checking additional fluid levels, battery, lights, and tire pressure) and refer all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
- Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, particularly the lifts.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
Qualifications
- A love of everything automotive.
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong desire to provide an exceptional client experience.
- Ability to achieve targeted goals.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license.
