Automotive Lube Technician

Pay

Full-time starting at $16/hr+, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general services for vehicle maintenance and repair, such as oil changes, tire rotation, and replacement
• Assist teammates in performing technical activities
• Minimize customer complaints through thorough yet time-effective repair services
• Ensure shop equipment is maintained in top working condition and adheres to shop safety and environmental practices
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Operate equipment and customer vehicles safely and responsibly
• Maintain strong communication between store teammates and all support departments
• Be familiar with, adhere to, and enforce company policies and procedures
• Adhere to legal guidelines, including OSHA requirements
• Assist with commercial tire and service calls

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience with vehicle repairs (preferred but not required)
• Experience in passenger/light truck install and maintenance, oil changes, tire repair, and minor auto repair
• Positive attitude and ability to relate well with employees and customers
• Ability to perform job functions requiring lifting or carrying items up to 50 lbs., as well as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
