About the Role

As an Automotive Technician at our Jiffy Lube location in Hadley, MA, you will provide top-notch service to customers, ensuring their vehicles run smoothly. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, communicate recommendations, and complete repairs. Your positive attitude, technical skills, and customer service will contribute to a collaborative and fun work environment.

A Day in the Life

You arrive each day ready to deliver excellent care to customers who trust your expertise. Using the training provided, you identify mechanical problems, perform maintenance, and address customer concerns. You communicate repair recommendations, provide labor and time estimates, and complete repairs efficiently. Staying up-to-date with training and maintaining a positive attitude ensures your success.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate recommendations
• Communicate repair details, labor estimates, and timelines to customers
• Replace parts and complete repairs as requested
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment
• Stay current with training and industry knowledge

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to stand for several hours and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• No prior experience required—we provide full training
• Previous mechanical experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Automotive Technicians earn a salary of up to $40,000 per year, based on experience.

Schedule

Part-time and full-time positions available, with shifts ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week. Schedules include a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts during business hours (no late nights). We are open 8am to 7pm Monday-Saturday and 9am to 4pm on Sunday.
