Automotive Lot Porter - Full Time

Responsibilities

• On the job training, no experience required.
• Porter is responsible for receiving pre-owned inventory from transport.
• This duty includes stocking in the vehicle and checking for transport damage.
• After service has completed PDI, porter is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is ready for the lot and then stocking it accordingly.
• Responsible to ensure all pre-owned vehicles have an AS IS sticker displayed and any certified stickers.
• Rotate the lot to ensure the right mix of product.
• Replace inventory when units are sold.
• Check and replace gas in units that are low.
• Check tire pressure and battery on each pre-owned vehicle.
• Porter is responsible for trash removal on lot and exterior trash cans surrounding building.

Requirements

• A valid, insurable driver's license is required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana) and a background check.
• This job requires operation of a motor vehicle and therefore is classified as Safety Sensitive work.
