About the role
As a Key Technician, you’ll work an assigned route of dealers and other customers, producing duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles that function identically to the originals. You’ll maintain equipment and inventory, submit invoices and work orders, and build positive relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Duplicate keys and program transponders for a variety of vehicles
- Maintain and manage equipment and inventory
- Submit invoices and work orders accurately and on time
- Develop and maintain productive customer relationships
- Work independently on an assigned route
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills
- Sales and customer service experience
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming (preferred)
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Pay
Starting compensation is expected to be $23.00 to $25.00/hour, with a base of $23/hour and the ability to earn an additional $3–$5/hour for production.
