Automotive Key Technician Trainee

About the role
As a Key Technician, you’ll work an assigned route of dealers and other customers, producing duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles that work just like the original ones. You’ll maintain equipment and inventory, submit invoices and work orders, and develop positive and productive relationships with our customers.

Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills
- Sales and customer service experience
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming preferred
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently
- Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Pay
Starting compensation is expected to be $23.00 to $25.00/hour, with a base of $23/hour and the ability to earn an additional $3-$5/hour for production. The final compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
