Automotive Key Technician Trainee

About the Role

As a Key Technician with Dent Wizard, you’ll work an assigned route of dealers and other customers, producing duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles that work just like the original ones. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and inventory, submitting invoices and work orders, and developing positive, productive relationships with customers.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electronic skills
• Sales and customer service experience
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming (preferred)
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Pay

Starting compensation is expected to be $23.00 to $25.00/hour, with a base of $23/hour and the ability to earn an additional $3–$5/hour for production.
