Automotive Key Technician Trainee

About the role
As a Key Technician with Dent Wizard, you’ll work an assigned route of dealers and other customers, producing duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles that function identically to the originals. You’ll maintain equipment and inventory, submit invoices and work orders, and build positive relationships with customers. Keys are a major part of our business, so we seek both experienced Key Techs and individuals with the right attitude and drive who can complete our training course.

Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills
- Sales and customer service experience
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming (preferred)
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Pay
Starting compensation is expected to be $25.00 to $32.00/hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
