Automotive Key Technician

Responsibilities

• Support and grow business relationships with dealerships and fleet operations in your metro area.
• Develop and maintain a weekly sales route to maximize profits.
• Manage inventory, maintain a company vehicle, conduct audits, and accurately log sales stops.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of automotive, cable installation, route sales, or related fields experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions and operating a full-size company van.

• Automotive-minded, comfortable in a dealership setting.
• Hands-on and mechanically capable, able to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Natural connector, skilled at introducing oneself and explaining services.

• Opposed to driving, operating a full-size company van as your primary vehicle.
• Disconnected from automotive work, unfamiliar with tasks like disconnecting batteries and entering vehicles.

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base salary, commission, and bonuses. Year 1 average is $62,440/year, with an average after the first year of $81,320/year. There is growth and opportunity for advancement within the company.
