Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Installing all equipment necessary to modify brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles, including routing and installing wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, and consoles.
• Disassembling and reassembling factory vehicles.
• Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment that may require heavy physical duties. Work will involve frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling.
• Fieldwork may be required at times, and varying work hours may be necessary.
• Maintaining shop and work bay cleanliness.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by leadership.
• Maintaining accurate records and finding efficiencies while respecting quality.
• Contributing ideas to the company.
• Supplying own basic set of tools commonly used in the performance of automotive repair work.

Qualifications

• Experience working with automotive electrical systems.
• Experience working with automotive mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Constructive team player.
• Positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented and focused on quality workmanship.
• Prioritization of safety and quality.
• Preferred qualifications include higher consideration for candidates with relevant training, experience, and/or Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XX - $YY per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position is available on a Day Shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
