Automotive Express Service Technician - Buick GMC

About the role

As an Automotive Express Service Technician, also known as a Quick Auto Service Technician, you will be primarily responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid level checks, and basic inspections to identify additional needed repairs and communicate them clearly to service advisors. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a quick turnaround time in our dealership's express service lane.

Responsibilities

• Identify additional needed repairs and communicate them clearly to service advisors.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure a quick turnaround time in the express service lane.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Post-offer screenings: Background check, Drug screening, Non-DOT driver physical, Lift test.

Skills & Experience

• Entry-level position: Minimal automotive service experience required.
• Basic automotive service skills.
• Desire to learn with a coachable attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
