Automotive Electronics Technician

About the role
The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the installation of motorsport-grade harnesses, electronics, and electronics-related components in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.” You will work in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and collaborate with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components necessary for installation on vehicles.
- Install chassis harnesses and electronic components from headlight to taillight.
- Fit and finish components onto vehicles.
- Perform initial start of the vehicle and adjust items as necessary.
- Observe that the engine runs within set build parameters and effectively diagnose issues.
- Diagnose electronic issues.
Requirements
- Three to five years of automotive and automotive electrical system experience.
- Experience working with electronic tools, crimpers, strippers, soldering irons, and heat guns.
- Experience working with basic hand tools, cutting tools, air tools, and electric grinders.
- Technical automotive wiring training and/or prior experience in a rapid-growth environment (preferred).
Schedule
This position is onsite in Torrance, CA. The core schedule is Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, with some overtime as needed.
Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $30–$38 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
